...these are my glasses--i got them on the side of the street in the east village in august of last year--the person selling them wanted $25 so i talked them down to $20...a week later i dropped them off to an 80 year old man to have my prescription filled--when the glasses were returned to me, the man asked me where i had found my frames and how much i had paid for them...after telling him the story he showed me the exact frames in a catalogue for sale...they were priced at $1,500...
